The locking supports securely lock the chassis-end to the printed circuit board. The double locking supports offer extra support and, due to the tension wing design on both ends, provide a secure fit as well. Other circuit board supports include reverse locking domed supports designed to provide support for heavy circuit boards where extra reinforcement is necessary. The reverse locking domed supports are easily assembled as well. Simply insert the supports into both holes from the chassis underside. Another unique feature is that the domed design provides superior part stability and eliminates screws, nuts and lock washers in mounting.

Alliance Express also saw a need for adding releasable supports to its standard product range. The spring end locks and releases quickly and easily to make repairs easily. This makes it more convenient for circuit boards that are handled frequently, and are often repositioned. Again, due to the design of the piece, there is no need for screws, nuts and lock washers in mounting.

The edge holding supports features a locking arm that securely clips to the printed circuit board. Although it secures to the board, it also makes it possible to easily and quickly remove or replace the printed circuit board. We also carry a line of blind hole locking supports whose flexible rib design allows the part to lock into a round, oval, threaded, non threaded, punched or drilled blind holes. Both the edge holding supports and the blind hole locking supports eliminate the need for screws, nuts and lock washers for mounting. Adhesive base supports also fall under the no fasteners required category. However, the adhesive base supports also eliminate the need for a mounting hole on the chassis due to the double-adhesive base. These securely lock the printed circuit board in place.

The threaded male and female locking supports are the final option that completes the circuit board support offering.
