Alliance Express and the Environment
Alliance Express believes in careful stewardship of the environment in which it operates and reiterates this commitment in its corporate business strategy. Our Erie, PA manufacturing locations are certified to ISO14001:2004 and implement this policy through documented and maintained environmental management systems that are structured to assess, manage and improve the environmental impact of our activities, products and services.
We are committed to:
- Viewing all possible environmental aspects within our operations
- Identifying those aspects which have significant risk of impact
- Maintaining statutory and regulatory requirements
- Implementing operational controls to minimize and measure environmental impact
- Monitoring and measuring environmental impact
- Maintaining emergency preparedness and response plans
- Having defined objectives, targets, and programs to ensure environmental protection initiatives are carried out effectively
Alliance Express ensures that the necessary resources are allocated to maintain this commitment, and the organization reviews the entire Environmental Management system annually for effectiveness. These annual reviews not only asses the effectiveness of operational controls through the review of key process indicators and monitored metrics, but also the continual training of our employees who are the key to our Environmental Commitment.
