Masking Tapes & Disks

The self bonding silicone tapes contain no adhesives and sticks only to itself. This masking tape is form fitting, making it an excellent solution for odd shapes. It also creates a waterproof seal after 24 hour self-bonding cure. Self bonding silicone tapes have excellent electrical properties and are used for high temperature cures, powder coating, e-coating, plating, anodizing and electrical applications. Green polyester tapes have excellent heat and solvent resistance, no shrinkage and are an industry standard product. They cleanly remove in one piece after use without leaving residue behind. High temperature crepe tapes are used for low temperature liquid and powder coating applications. This is a thick, pressure sensitive masking tape that is easy to apply and removes cleanly. Polyimide tapes have excellent heat and solvent resistance, dielectric strength (6500 volts) and are highly conformable. They also cleanly remove in one piece after use. They are suitable for the following applications: high-temperature processes, powder coating, soldering, electrical insulation and PC boards. The final tape offering is glass cloth (fiberglass) tapes that are easy to remove without fraying. The excellent flame, abrasion and solvent resistance makes them ideal for powder coating, shit and grit blasting, and high temperature curing. These tapes are recommended for thick coatings and high temperature curings. This masking tape is excellent for irregular shapes and surfaces, including corners.

The Alliance Express product range of masking discs consists of three different materials. The green polyester discs have excellent heat and solvent resistance and are an industry standard product. They are supplied with a split-back liner for easy removal from the roll, unless otherwise noted. These discs ensure that there will be no shrinkage, and they cleanly remove in one piece after use, without leaving any residue. These are typically used in powder coating, e-coating, plating and anodizing applications. Polyimide discs are also available for applications with high temperature processes, or for powder coating and soldering, as well as on electrical insulation and PC boards. These polimide discs have excellent heat and solvent resistance, dielectric strength (6500 volts), and are highly conformable. They also cleanly remove in one piece after use. The final masking disc offering is our high temperature crepe discs for low temperature paints and powder coating applications. This is a thick, pressure sensitive masking tape that is easy to apply and remove with clean lines. These are best removed when warm or hot, but can be removed when cold if necessary.
