Protecting one’s products and flooring surfaces has never been easier than with our range of glides. Our range offers durable plastic glides that create a protecting surface between a piece of equipment and the surface on which it rests. Although this may be their primary purpose, the variety of uses is plentiful. Since the parts are an economical solution for preventing scratching of valuable surfaces, they are a popular product among companies and consumers alike. Glides not only protect the surfaces on which they rest, but they allow for easier movement for those items that are commonly rearranged.
Glide base caps, tack glides, and weld cups glides for wrought iron allow all consumers to protect surfaces with one easy push or tap of a hammer. These products are ideal for furniture or other types of equipment that one may want to prevent from scratching the surface they sit on or from being damaged themselves. Multiple factors must be analyzed, such as type of material and what surface these products will be place on, before choosing a particular glide; however these products are offered in many different styles, colors, and materials to effectively suit almost any need.
The glide base caps are manufactured in nylon or low density polyethylene (LDPE) in a natural color. These base caps are designed to snap on and are low profile. They effectively encapsulate standard metal base glides and a wide range of adjustable feet. This all encompassing design ensures that surfaces remain in top condition while allowing for easy movement and manipulation.
;Tack glides are manufactured in a high-density polyethylene with a zinc plated nail centered in the middle of the glide to allow for easy installation. These are available in both natural and light brown colors. These are also available in two styles for consumer convenience. Not all applications can be treated the same, and our product range recognizes and accommodates the needs of buyers. These tack glides are ideal for wooden furniture because they are easily installed and provide an economical and practical finish for many applications.
Weld cups for wrought iron are manufactured in high density polyethylene (HDPE) in a natural color. These parts feature a center air hole and are sure to fit standard steel weld cups. These are available in two types to meet buyers’ needs.
Also available in our standard product range are snap in saddle glides. These glides are made from an ABS material and are available in clear or black. These are designed to snap onto horizontal legs of chairs, tables and stands.

Alliance Express also offers a wide array of feet in a variety of styles and materials. The styles include push on versions that lock into a predrilled hole, screw on models that quickly and easily fasten with standard screws, self adhesive stick-on versions, and rivet feet that are supplied with a nylon rivet that simply push into place. Once installed, the rubber soled foot locks into sheet metal panels. Rubber based products are used to prevent movement and vibration but for applications where regular movement is expected, or required, the nylon base is the proper choice.
